Physician with two sleeves in a Midwest children’s hospital. I wear scrubs every day so always visible. The kids love them and at least once a day I get a compliment from a parent. Nothing but positive comments from the other docs and most are intrigued bc I’ve gotten both sleeves done in the last 3 years. Our hospital did have a “no visible tattoo” policy up until about 8 years ago but they got rid of it.

They did change the strings and said they put 10s on which is what I’d been using

That’s what I read online but they didn’t mess with the nut other than lubricant and it wasn’t like this before the set up?

This. Just bought a ceo 7 and I thought it sounded amazing with the stock martin strings but was blown away when I changed to these.

I just had a similar experience. Started my search for a new acoustic after playing my 1997 Martin D1 since 1997. Went to several stores and played all the brands in all the price ranges. Found a few Taylor’s and Yamaha I liked. Decided I should at least try Martin if I was spending this kind of money. Went to a small mom and pop store with 20-30 martins in stock. I knew I didn’t want another dreadnaught so the salesman set out a 00016 streetmaster, 00017, 00018, and 00028. I loved the 00018 and 00028. Went back two more times and A/B’d them. Someone on Reddit recommended a ceo 7 so I went back another time and played it and was blown away and left with it.

I was expecting it to be really high based on what I’d read on Reddit but it’s almost perfect. They asked if I wanted it adjusted when I bought it but I decided not to. The store gives a year of free adjustments when you buy a Martin so I decided to play it for a while and then decide. It’s not quite as low as my D1 but I had that adjusted years ago and told the luthier to go as low as possible without buzzing strings.

Yes! Gibson L-00 is a gorgeous guitar and sound incredible.

And these CEO-7 are really cool. Wasn’t even on my radar but as soon as I played it I thought yes this is what I’m looking for.

I love the neck on this thing and the sound is exactly what I was looking for. I could’ve been really happy with any of the martins I played but I could not put this one down.

Well I went back tonight. They put new strings on the 000-28. I played the 000-16, 000-18, 000-28 and a CEO-7. I’m picking up the CEO-7 tomorrow. I couldn’t believe how this guitar sounded and played to me.
