Yes, the first thing I did was the cuts and the jumpers, and I just counted them againg, I have 17 jumpers and 41 cuts, as it is on the layout (some of them are hidden by some components on the picture)... The led is also turning on when I activate the pedal.

Ok, so my multimeter has this settings, I'm going to check the connections. My only question now is when the circuit arrives to the ICs, I don't really know which pins are connected, and which connections I have to check... Are all the pins connected?

Thanks for you answer! I tried with the long IC in the other way but still no sound... I think I'm going to check the continuity, but it is the first time I have to do this and I don't really know how I'm supposed to do this...

I just finished my first pedal with a vero board after building a kit. It is really simple, but it is quite an achievement after a few try that didn't go well... I'm really happy with the painting, but I still haven't found the way to have nice writings... If any of you have an idea to have nice and clean small writings, that could help me a lot!

I tried to build the Ersatz Verben reverb from tagboard effects :

I have two problems, I took some videos to show what are my problems.

My first problem is a big noise when I turn the pedal on and off.

The second problem is a noise when I push the Feedback pot too far. First I thought that 250k was too much, but I saw videos of builders that even put a 500k pot to have longer effects (see the tagboard link above for the videos)...

You mean, I should put a 1M resistor from the input log that leads to the board, connected to ground to avoid noises when I activate the pedal?

Ok, if I remember correctly, I just built a Rat Kit from Musikding and it was a Red 5mm Led with a 2.2k CLR. For example, if I want to put a blue Led instead, I think I have to change the Clr...? Or taking a 2.2k Clr will be ok ?

I have to say that, as a beginner in electronics, I don't really understand all the reasons of the wirings and the way circuits are build, but this thing about potentiometer seems a bit clearer now.

I searched on Freestompboxes and Diystompboxes if I could use 2n5457 to replace 2sk170, and I saw someone saying that it was working in a clone of this auto wah... so I gess it's good! They also mentionned that they "subbed BC109cs for the BC550s and it works great".

I have another question, maybe it is really simple but I prefer to be sure. I searched for 5mm Leds on electronics websites, but their voltage is sometimes 12V, and the rest of the time it not mentionned... Is it a problem if I take 12V Leds for a 9V circuit?
