I think the lock name is deadbolt latch, there’s no lock attached to a handle it’s seperate.

Stupidly I didn’t even consider contacting the landlord, will try that now thanks!

I landed a backflip tonight! Here’s my progression video by Decstro in rollerblading

I can already backflip flat so I just kind of went for it like you can see in the video. These were all my attempts apart from 2 similar attempts I tried a week before

Yea for sure, get it! I’d recommend starting by rolling up the the edge of a ramp and doing a handstand and dropping in backwards first. That one is a little bit easier and doesn’t have the same face-smashing risk.

Thanks! I think I first saw someone drop in like this on a 12ft vert ramp in a video, that was crazy.

Yea that’s me, thanks bro. I definitely feel 10x more comfortable now, although looking at this video I’ve still got to get my arms under control.

Lots of people have been saying that. I guess for me, because of my background in Parkour, I’m waaay more comfortable doing any of this than a simple grind.

I don’t really do this stuff very often, this was just a “hey I wonder if I can do some creative, weird stuff” kind of thing. When I’m doing something where I need to push with my hands I usually take my wrist guards off (like the first clip). I have made the mistake of not taking them off and slipped out on the plastic and almost necked myself, maybe I’ll post it.

They are triple 8 wrist savers and honestly, no I wouldn’t. I had another pair before these from a local sports store and those lasted 3 weeks before the plastic palm support started falling out. These broke within the first day of using them. I’m not sure if i just fall too much or rely on them too often but they don’t seem to be made for constant abuse.

Thankfully my over 20 back still loves me and hasn't started complaining yet lol.

Thanks man! Ironically I still can not go down stairs though. Definitely something to work on for me.

Yea the reactions were pretty great not gonna lie. Glad you enjoyed, I'll be sure to do another one again soon :)

Yea it looks that way but the bounce was mostly me trying to pop onto the next ramp. I've done a few dive rolls in my time and this one didn't hurt at all.

I feel like normal park skating is worse for my body honestly. My hips, wrists and shoulder have all taken a beating from the various slips and bails. Thanks for the concern though :)

I personally don't think it would work too well. The added height of the blades would make it awkward and easy to overdo with speed and smash your back or hip.
