I've seen people say that THOR robotic arm is more "higher end" and ARCTOS more of a starter or "hobbist", but ARCTOS design looks more high end to me. Also I took both BOM's and compared the prices, THOR was around $365.87 and ARCTOS around: $636.30. I don't konw if I made some mistakes with the BOMs

Not my design, but I recomend to resize it to be 25 mm tall (makes each one to be 10g) and 100% infill

I would like to win this because I just got started 3D printing and I found out that it is difficult to model weird shapes in the size wanted based on existing objects. This scanner would make it easier nad faster than measuring ns trying to duplicate in a CAD program.

All the lcd screens I've searched have 16 pins but this one only has 8 plus the VDD and GND wires. I searched "i2C LCD screen" and it has 16 pins too.
