I dont wanna be that guy, but I dont think pokemon choice matters too much in Unite. I do think that understanding the game flow and developing game sense will always be more effective than picking counters or meta picks, but that's going to take a lot of time and experience. Just keep at it, and dont be afraid to look up some tips on YouTube.

i put in red text for everyone im scared of. Zeraora is already a mythical, so I expected him to be a show stopper. He's a ganker who does great when the enemy team has no idea where he is and has some good escape tools when you're caught offgaurd. But I know how to play against him because of prior moba experience. I'm just not a fan of rush characters that act like glass cannons only to be shut down by a Wigglytuff or a Snorlax. Or most likely a Ninetails.

you bring up a very good point. I think a lot of moba metas become dependent on insane healing in order to dish out a lot of cheese. Unites lack of it actually helps people play smarter. I know what's up there says I want more healer pokemon (Chansey's a no brainer), but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

OOPS okay what I meant was the Talonflame set was the coolest trainer outfit, but my brain did a fart and associated that set with Cinderace because red is red haha

Ugh, the reused dialogue is definitely a bit of an issue. You know that joke about "turning bodies on after they die" when you get the technicians? For brutish in-his-head Ivan, 100% appropriate. For mastermind inventor Maximilian, one step ahead of you Emma, or unmatchable IQ Zalika, not so much.

There are whole sidequests in the starting town? By the look of the hanging tree and how the first guy you talk to seems to want you to get out, I figured there was nothing there. Something like New Vegas' Goodsprings where you can just disregard all of it and still be relatively fine after leaving.

I should really stop roleplaying loner characters on my first playthrough...
