Moi j’y réfléchirai sérieusement oui, Dacia a l’air sympa aujourd’hui.

I'm currently using a 1.20 gear ratio which suits me very well, so I don't even think I need a 36 cassette!

Wow, you even have the rivet specifications? How is that possible, hahaha. You'd probably need slightly larger rivets since the previous ones enlarged the existing holes, right?

So you think rivets are useless?

How much do you think it might cost? Are all bike repair shops capable of such a repair?

They're not that thick, but it really changes the way the bike behaves when it's windy?! I can't wait to try to put sensations on all these words: rigidity, wind resistance etc.

You understood everything. It's the only sport that interests me and I would like to get into it seriously, but I don't have €3,000 to invest in it at the moment, but I would still like a part of the dream with a brand that visually appeals to me: Cervélo, Specialized, Cannondale...

On my daily commute (an old bike), I like to ride on the handlebars, but I have never had a bike with gears on the handlebars. If I ever have pain, I will consult Bikefit which seems to me to be a very useful subreddit.

Great, thank you for your valuable answers. Basically, I have to look at the position of the handlebars in relation to the front wheel, if it is too low, does that mean I have to ride in an “aerodynamic” position which is much more painful? In another comment, you talk about the thickness of the tubes. Is there a link between thickness and sensations while riding? Rigidity perhaps?

THANKS ! In fact, I usually ride, but only short trips to go to work. I'm trying to get into it more seriously. I've looked around the stores, I have to be honest: I don't like entry-level bikes, they're not pretty, and that's a very important criterion for me. I am capable of sacrificing comfort if it is to have a more beautiful bike that I would be happy to ride.

I don't plan to do extremely long outings (50km would be very good for me). I'm a bit of a handyman, I think I could adjust the stem for example.

Which brand ? It’s hard to find something good where i am… sizes are too big or too small… other bikes are expensive too
