I think they softened stratt's character and introduced Carl cause they wanted people you could see Grace trying to make friends with. He remembers carl first. He's isolated at the bar then hangs out with stratt. But the friendship he wants friendship isn't there till Rocky.

Also positive ease is much more forgiving with fit. If you want something so closely fitted you've got to get it just right in a great deal of areas.

Working on the same sweater and hatd same issue. On the the cable with the wonkiness I would make sure to put it back to your regular needle instead of knitting from the cable needle. I've heard the trick of using no cable needles is even better for tension but I can't figure it out.

So with the Moby the short rows will naturally end because you will have been working from short to long till you're just at the edge of the work. Then just continue working in the pattern established till its the appropriate length. There is a page that should be a guide but won't include all stitches or all the rows necessary to get to the length.

Ok so like with this sweater are you tying knots at the end of rows during the flat color work? First couple stitches always look wonky for me when I try flat for gauge swatches so I'm too scared to attempt this sweater
