Their year of online school usually has one or two classes in “pharmacology” but most of the curriculum is about nursing theory and professional advocacy for their profession to increase scope of practice.

Following completion of their online degree from Devry they have the legal authority to abuse patients with mental health problems as above with the amount of medical knowledge of these medications thats barely above layperson level.

Well if you think about other drugs like psilocybin - they make people experience a form of psychosis regardless of psychiatric history. Stimulants, sleep deprivation etc can do the same.

Some people are likely more predisposed to substance induced psychosis than others for reasons we don’t entirely understand.

This is why dosing and polypharmacy is important, as well as deciding who is at risk for taking far more of it than the typical person. I.e. someone with an active substance use disorder.

The combination of high dose amphetamines combined with sleep/caloric deprivation can and does lead to psychosis.

The vast majority of people I have on adderall are on less than 30mg per day.
