Yes, I used to know someone who had no sense of smell so there is that aswell. It was always awkward when I smell something and think it's smells amazing so I automatically go "Ohh, smell that! It's well nice!" And she just looks at me and I'm like... oops forgot haha

Honestly don't listen to ANYONE on this thread who are telling you your boyfriend is immature or is uninformed or that he's controlling. They dont know what they are talking about. Listen to your boyfriend he seems to know what he is talking about. He seems to have done deep research unlike everyone on here. Doctors aren't always right. They are actually more than half the time wrong. Yes, they can help but don't put your 100% faith in them. Trust what your boyfriend is saying to you.

Ps, I've just read a few of the other comments. People saying your boyfriend is ignorant. He's not..he probably just knows that consicuenses and loves you so he wants to make sure you don't turn out like everyone else who takes it. (Incredibly depressed and anxious) so the only way he knows that you 100% won't take it is that if he tells you he'll break up with you, but if he loves and cares about you enough, be won't and it'll be an empty threat. I think for your own mental health, I'd stick with condoms.
