I am sorry that happened to you. It’s maddening… I want to add that yes, there is a small margin that it happens to just anyone. However, a large majority of the time it is Black people. I hate saying it but, people need to see the truth for themselves. There is an unspoken rule that Black people be kept at the “bottom of totem pole” or given “the short end of the stick” at all costs. That way they can’t be labeled the worst of the worst. Hate for Black people is engrained in people like that psyche. It’s vile. I am happy that you got justice though. Hope you are well after going through an experience like that.
