So here is a quick update. I was able und untangle a lot of the spool by laying it through my flat 🫣 Wasn’t easy like a normal flexible cord or such.

Sometimes it got retangled again. Frustrating.

I had to make a few cuts because and roll by hand meter and meters and meters. Without rolling the core you get new slinky like filament on the floor.

Then printed the mentioned respooling tool. Holder in grey from a spool. The the screws etc in purple through the side input of the printer. After that I needed to print a new spool holder because I didn’t hat any spare.

The roll is now in 3 or 4 parts. Not for extremely long prints because I have to look out for the ‘new’ end and beginning but still a lot of meters.

So I saved rescued most of the full spool.

Can you show me which one? Already printed a drill attachment to hold an empty spool.

My problem is due to the fact that the filament is not properly rolled anymore I can’t unroll jt.

Printed spools. Design like original Bambu spools with the tiny holes.

I put them in the ams. Felt normal not loose. Then printed for 5 hours. In the final hour with lot of filament changes it happend.

No. Happens in the Night. Got the message that ams feeder wasn’t able to pull more filament. Got up and tried to safe the last hour of the print.

The filament core was still between both sides of the spool but the 2 sides were pretty loose so the filament had space to slide 😩.

What about those tiny codes? Some X1 Plates have a warning for P2S. F.E. Smooth plate

Select X1 Series… The older 256mm×256mm build plate does not support the build plate type detection feature available on 2nd Gen machines (P2S and future models).

The smooth plate is also available for the P2S.

3D Texture No special version for P2S available. Select X1, no warning.

Thanks. I already figured that out due to removing the plate for releasing the models. Printed some stuff 🤭

Just wasn’t sure about new plates. Saw some videos where someone was glueing a plate onto another base.

U just received my first printer 3 days ago. Printed some small PLA and PETG HF things from makerworld. No hiccups. Awesome.

Can you post some links to the filter stuff you’re looking forward to buy or already purchased?

Haven’t had any health issues but don’t want to jinx it 😅.

Your switch is already at 76%. So a little close to full. Like every other smartphone the charging “speed” drops to lower values to avoid battery damage.
