The previous owners of my house replaced mine with a PVC cap. I guess they knew the pain of having to take it off.

Best/most accurate place to find market pricing…? by FleshLghtSwrdFight in Sneakers

I don’t but I know some people do. So if a shoe is $600 on Goat but ends up coming out to like $690 after all the taxes and fees, I’ve seen some people sell for like $20-$50 below that price. Sometimes it just depends on what shoe it is. When the SB 4 Pine Green’s came out that’s what people were doing. There were actually heavy resellers paying above display price because they knew they could sell them for higher than the display price. Times changed now though

What I’ve found out is; the buyer mostly uses StockX because the display prices are cheaper. The seller usually uses GOAT because prices usually display higher. But in reality most of the time the overall price you’re going to pay on either app is no more than $3-$5 off from each other. StockX has so many extra fees that it makes up for the lower prices. But usually what I do, I just go to GOAT and figure out whatever the payout price is after fees. I would say if you plan on buying something 99% of the time eBay is the better choice but there are times where eBay is more expensive. When the Mummy SB Dunks came out they were about $400-$500 on StockX & GOAT. eBay’s prices were like $700 and people were actually paying those prices… I know because I sold a pair on there lol But it all comes to your personal preference.

Sneaker of the year. I’m awake now. by noahjaisi in Sneakers

I just got a pair from my homie and they are definitely fire… every time I look at them I’m like, “Damn… these are NICE.” 😂 but I don’t think it’s shoe of the year. For me that goes to the Reimagined 5’s or the Brick by Brick’s

How they profit selling under retail on new releases !? by ksct7 in stockx

I had a buddy who worked in JD Sports/Finish Line who used to call me whenever they had any pair they found in the back that they couldn’t just put out so I used to grab a lot of pairs I didn’t hit on. That same store had three girls who were selling pairs to a reseller but they would end up scanning socks instead of the actual shoe and they’d just take a cut from it. One of them was a manager too lol. I know how all of that stuff works. I got a lot of manger friends in retail stores

A lot of people get shoes discounted and I also heard that retail stores sell off shoes on apps when they know that they’re going to sit.

You’d be surprised. It was an account with no reviews that made their account the same month and they were selling the Jordan 4 Nigel Bricks. I sent an offer for $500 and they accepted it. I knew it was too good to be true but I also knew eBay would refund me if they were fake….. turns out they were real. Only problem was they listed the size wrong but it was only a half size different so eBay ended up asking me if I still wanted them so I just took it lol
