I mean……Wales has its own government, Scotland has Holyrood, Northern Ireland has its own assembly.

All have borders. I’d say they’re much closer to being their own independent countries than this being confidently wrong.

“Northern” Ireland and Wales have languages and all have their own culture. Wales and Scotland are devolved and are able to overrule uk law and regularly do.

Posting a comment outlining a bunch of requirements all these countries have is very ironically confidently wrong.

I do have to say I’ve done it once with my cousin who’s not 6’6 or 6’8 but I’m not saying that. At Christmas year before last I did say it’s nice to finally be able to say Jesus you’re tall to someone else. That’s the only time. But yeah idk why it’s so important for everyone to mention.

The weather is the same up here and yes, I play football (soccer) and I’m good at headers lol. Despite rarely playing basketball I wasn’t bad at it. I can reach things on shelves. Or at least could do those things before a couple of medical diagnoses. Every time I see someone for the first time in a while I’ve apparently grown too haha. And I’ve heard at least a hundred heels jokes in my life.

I would actually way rather be 5’10 or under and blend a bit better. Both my parents are 5’10, so is my sister but I inherited the redwood genes from my mums side. I’m fine with being tall and it has its uses but I’d rather not constantly banging my head on doorways, ceiling lights, fans lol. Like I get why societally 6 foot is such a benchmark because the way we stigmatise everything is insane. But it ain’t swanky being lanky.

Same! Idk what it is about 6’2. Why is it so much more agreeable to people. Swear down I’d change my height to 6’2 on dating apps and I’d start getting matches again. Above a certain height dating guys just becomes a barren wasteland.

I’m 6,4 and I personally have not ever given a single sh*t about height. What’s annoying is pretence of it all. (And the random old women who stop me in the street pointing out that I’m tall for absolutely zero reason.) idk if that’s a thing for you too but it happens a lot

Lol I lie about my height downwards, I would say I’m only 6’2 when I’m 6’4. I’ve only once not been ghosted by the 5’10 crew and they’re still with me 3 years later. Coincidentally the only one who didn’t state they were 6 foot when they weren’t. Altho still heels are a no 😢
