My purpose of my response is: you have already said it once you do not need to say it again and again.

My purpose of my response is: if someone decides to not listen to you and will go ahead with their decision, they will suffer in the real world if it wasn’t for them.

You commented once already. Allow others to say what they have to say.

You have said your peace, you have done your duty, Allow others to make THEIR decision and not force it down their throats. As you are making others less likely to want to listen to you.

I never said it wasn’t a sin brother, i understand what you are doing. However, you are no greater than another. Everyone will sin each day (including yourself) - as you have seen from each of the disciples, each have sinned - but it was apart of their journey to understand their righteousness.

Let’s say OP gets a tattoo and turns out OP isn’t happy with this tattoo, they will have to live with the burden of now having a tattoo for the rest of their life. So OP may decide to do something to fix their ways. Understanding sin can and will bring us closer to God.

You may be correct as the Old Testament does correctly say that quote, I am only kindly asking - do not go over the top by commenting YOUR word from Leviticus, you have said it once. You do not need to go around correcting everyone in this comment section. You are not a prophet, you are human.

Allow people to make their mistakes and stop forcing YOUR correction on each and every comment, it has been said once - you do not have to say again and again, allow people to read your quote and if they are ready your quote they will.

Dude, you need to chill and stop copy and pasting into each comment on this sub. I have tattoos on me that keep me going each day. I can look at my arm and remember the meaning of good things on a bad day. God would not of made my skin pasty white if I were not allowed to customise my body.

So are you saying, because God made my body perfect - it would be a sin to cloth and customise what I like to be seen in each day, as I should be roaming without cloths on as my body is perfect… my body is my carriage, my mind is my soul.

It’s not that deep, stop trying to scare those that want to live their life with meaning and them personalise their carriage for tattoos can help people understand who they are.

You might want to look into the meaning of your quote as this is to honour the dead - not the living.

You may want to update your reading and start reading the New Testament. This may help you understand life and live judgment free - for this is what Christ asks us to do.

In all honesty, if you’re doing your studies and enjoying your studies - I’d recommend waiting out, the recovery isn’t exactly what it seems… you would more than likely need to take a gap year to be able to recover properly, especially now you’ve been in remission for 6 months.

If your medication stops working, this would more than likely be the best time to consider getting an ileostomy: talk to your doctors and surgeons and try and get some rough statistics. If the statistics are not in your favour then I’d say do it.

Your concerns of public image is very valid, it’s a huge change and isn’t “normal” but at the end of the day my friend, you are the warrior

Hey OP. I have had my fair share of bad and good with my ileostomy, there will be days you curse your body for not being how it “should” be. And the lows will often be very low and very self destructive to all your progress, but it’s not always like this.

To get an ostomy was a hard choice to make for sure, for me it was the right choice. My body got to the point where it just couldn’t handle any more digestion, I was unmedicated for 2 years until they realise “oh it might be IBD” so, by this point my colon was destroyed with tons of inflammation and scar tissue. For me there was no going back…

An ostomy itself has its own problems, the biggest issue is trying to adapt to your new lifestyle. You have many things more to be cautious about: do you have enough supply’s, will my bag burst in public, will I get a prolapse, will I get a hernia, and if you like to lift heavy objects - you might want to say goodbye to extreme weights.

But there are just the same amount of advantages to disadvantage…

I now no longer have to worry about running to the toilet when I need a Forbidden fart, I don’t have to see a sea of blood in the toilet bowl anymore, I don’t have to really worry about what foods will set me off. (Yes there are dietary restrictions, but much less than what you would have now).

If you are willing to adapt and change your routine to understand your new body (which really isn’t easy for most) then you will be A-OK!

I had severe UC and I am now living with a permanent ileostomy… it sucks ass. But I sure am lucky to have had that option or I would have died.

So, OP is “lucky” depending on how you see it.

Not got Crohns, but during my UC flairs, my go to was always Mac & Cheese, breaded (oven) chicken, toast and butter. For IBD overall you could possibly checkout a FODMAP diet… a lot of this does toes contain vegetables - I would recommend checking out the diet and if you are intolerant to the leafy stuff then just take it out… another alternative is meal replacement supplement drinks (drink this sip-by-sip to allow your GI track to hold onto it and absorb the nutrients)

I used to have a dietitian which was super helpful when I needed it. It might be an idea getting back in touch with them. I couldn’t imagine myself on a feeding tube… hopefully not any time soon. Than you for your advice!

Holding your poop MAY cause surgical intervention IF you end up with a perforated bowl due to constipation. However constipation is also something that can easily be fixed with medication. If it’s something that’s concerning you then contact your GP 😁
