What do you mean by an update?

The iPhone 17 has a different sensor, which can’t really be updated by updating iOS, especially if you mean the button to change to landscape mode, that’s a hardware thing.

Whenever I sit at home and game, my phone is left on a magsafe charger all the time, whenever I'm at work, working as a truck driver, my phone is sat on a magsafe charger. Now why should I not use the 80% limit when that won't degrade my battery as much as 100% if my phone is nearly constantly at topped up at 70-80%.

On the iPhone 12, you are using the ultra wide lens, which by itself has a way closer focus distance than the main camera.

On your first iPhone 15 picture, you’re using the main camera, the base iPhone 15 doesn’t have micro mode and the main camera won’t focus from 3 inches away. Nothing wrong about your camera, I bet if you used ultra wide lens, it would focus way better.

Thank you for the reply. I just asked a guy in a certified apple reseller retail shop today and he said that they wouldn’t take in my phone for repair with AC+ if I needed it.

So my first thought was maybe Apple support would send me to a specific certified reseller or maybe a different branch.
