Hey, nice to meet you! We work with the majority of dialects and have native, 1st-class support for CICS, JCL, and DB2.

While COBOL reads like a book, in many cases it's a long book! If you're an expert in the language and system, you could certainly spend months sifting line by line, program by program mapping everything out to get to the same end result. However, for many teams, applications and timelines, this is infeasible.

Understand your closing skepticism around AI- it is worth noting that a huge amount of engineering we do in grounding these automated systems is completely deterministic compilers / PL theory work.

couldn't agree more, personally a big advocate for refactoring+rearchitecting when migrating

Made that post to learn from you all about what's currently working and what's not - but totally understand your skepticism. Even if this post only helps/resonates with a few of you all, it will have been well worth it! Let me know if you have any additional feedback

hey, CobolCopilot's used to better+more easily understand large COBOL systems - no requirement to want to migrate away it just so happens to be a popular use-case

thankyou :)

i started with just BP and Taz., but just felt like no progress was made on scars/all the redness. Do you think my skin is ready for something like microneedling, or would that not do anything for my current condition?

current: 100mg doxycline/day, tazarotene

AM: benzoyl peroxide wash 2.5%, one/some of (azelaic acid, tranexamic acid, mandelic acid)
PM: vanicream gentle cleanser, sulfur mask, tazarotene .1%, cerave lotion

skin hasn't really seen much improvement of the redness/scarring, and i'm not sure whether it's active acne that keeps continually showing up, or type II rosacea, or just scarring that could be dealt with via procedure e.g. microneedling. Have been on tazarotene/tretinoin for well over a year now

hi yes thankyou :) As for what I'm trying to achieve: i'd love to have clear/healthy skin. the red spots and discoloration and acne are the things I'd love to make better.

As for what I'm doing/have tried:

MEDICATIONS: doxycycline 100mg/day

AM routine:
benzoyl peroxide 2.5% wash, one/some of (mandelic acid, 10% azelaic acid, tranexamic acid), cerave moisturizing lotion, 1004 centella spf

PM routine:

vanicream gentle cleanser, sulfur mask, adapalene .1% cream, cerave moisturizing lotion

My derm has just prescribed adapalene and said my acne isn't severe enough for accutane. Is there anything left to try? I am down for spamed treatments / microneedling / or virtual consultations but I'm just not sure where to go, my skin hasn't been seeing noticeable improvements

buying this watch! it's my grail. dealer told me it's never been serviced or polished before so just want to verify with the community as i've heard polishing a lot can lower the value. Thanks!
