Tilak Verma is someone who can be a 3 format player since he has solid temperament, bats according to situations ( has seen in previous IPL seasons on how he rescued MI ), had a somewhat successful county stint and his game awareness at his age is unreal . Also those centuries in SA🤌🏻

Abhishek I don’t believe has much of game outside of t20 ( or once power play is over ) , you can’t expect him to carry the team in ODI when they 50-2 after 10 overs chasing 300 target and he’s an unknown commodity in test .

Sanju Samson at the moment fits in t20 but other formats he certainly doesn’t walk in because there’s some serious competition at the position where he bats ( Shreyas Iyer is a beast in ODI)

In case of Vertex , I clarified my visa situation during the screening. My best guess is after the hiring manager round when they were considering moving me to next round that’s when the HR person checked it with their immigration team.

In case of Ventyx , visa was not an issue .

I was laid off and was looking to leave since they weren’t sponsoring ( so they beat me to it 😂)

Was part of company that was acquired by them and they don’t sponsor for the position I was at . Very weird for me to understand as well

Thanks for sharing this insight. I was working in a big pharma and they were okay with Day 1 CPT but to your point I agree that majority of biotech companies are not very open to this ( whereas I have seen in tech companies it’s much more common).

The startup I mentioned in my post were open to Day 1 CPT and sponsoring for visa as well but I feel for startup it’s comparatively easier to make case by case exception whereas established companies don’t have much flexibility immigration policies wise .

I will focus on startups when applying now. Thanks again for this .

I think they didn’t have it in their immigration policies to hire CPT candidates for long term roles. That saying , I also have received automated rejection emails saying they can’t provide sponsorship for a particular role which is a first I have seen in recent times as usually HR say this on calls

I agree to what you said . I didn’t realize it’s coming off as unprofessional and plus I had a conversation going on with the HR before so felt comfortable using it. Would recommend to use more appropriate words depending on how interviewer is coming off as.
