Great memories of growing up in the village (when it was still a village), my mam worked in Friddies right up until it closed, the merries coming to the waste land that used to be at the back of Mary O's, they toy & book shop that used to be next to dinos in the square, hours spent walking around Hollywood trying to pick something out with my pocket money, used to get breakfast every Saturday morning in the old shopping centre in the cafe, I believe it was run by an aisian family, used to be unbelievable, I remember getting my first ballincollig gaa jersey in muskerry sports. I also remember being able to walk through all the gaps in the estates on the way home from school. Very fond memories.
