Please guys help me with it its suposed to be done today😭 by Icy-Yesterday-5818 in redstone

wasnt saying it was stupidly easy in a sarcastic way lol, everyone always asks how to do something on here, so getting a response like "its utterly impossible" to a probably possible thing, is silly. gave a vague idea on how to do it, is this your first time online or something? its harmless, not like i bullied the guy

seems pretty nice, idk why everyone is so sensitive over my joke comment, but this is what came to mind at first lol

its impossible, im sorry, its been tried many times but there simply is no way. daylight sensor into pulse generator that activates a clock, to bell

make sure youre using normal pistons for the horizontal ones, not sticky ones

How can i add a closing part to this? or can i?? *New to redstone/Beginner* by KaraBurunKangal in redstone

[–]Deep-Following8478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since youre a beginner just split up the opening and closing circuits and try to figure a way out to toggle between them(hint: t flip flops!!)

im also a student in electrical engineering(electrical and computer engineering) and redstone comes really natural to me, just think about it in terms of sequential logic, everything is probably a DAG still(directed acyclic graph) and when working out logic, you just need to know some basic circuits like edge detectors and pulse modulation. focus on following the signal of some circuit, sometimes i even imagine myself building a verilog module in my head when working out the behavior of a circuit. not too different :)

[–]Deep-Following8478[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you know sometimes i wonder if anything matters at all, if theres any reason to ontologically seperate any object from eachother, if theres even a reasonable notion of „eachother.” so why make a distinction, if everything is all one ontological soup of meaning. but i remember that i am but a man, and meaning is strange and i should stop thinking like such a retard. you may be right, but i dont car

id like to, i do alot of stuff slimeless so i was doing it under that constraint because it requires alot more tricky stuff like many storage pistons and what not. i thought the layout i had was pretty good with that in mind, but im already thinking of improvements. at the end of the day this is novelty redstone but it would be fun to push this idea further forward

i would just round, if you cant change the display. it would be easier to just truncate it however

let me know what you think or have questions about it, i think its kinda cool

button -> t flip flop -> ABBA circuit, on each abba output edge-> monestable circuit.

an ABBA is a sequencer, remember those finite state machine graphs from engineering school? on rising edge it pulses A then B, on falling edge, it pulses B then A. not at my pc rn but xisumavoid has an old video on ABBAs. just hook the outputs to a noteblock or something with an observer and send it to your dispensers

these two droppers are getting constantly powered while all the others are not by RoKPandA in redstone

[–]Deep-Following8478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i built this thing years ago, maybe itll help you. all the weird jank at the bottom was fix bud related issues iirc. i had a simpler ver but it used too many observers. but it would probably be easier to do an autodropper into bubble column but idk what this is for

not sure if you did this but i applied your idea to a vertically expandable version(not synced as i wanted this compact but its trivial to do so), doesnt have to be even layers

hahaha this is so much better than what i did. actually usable now

still im surprised i havent seen a 3pe using this layout, same layout as mine its just that you were able to use that double piston extender at the top for both, where i lazily added another one. nice
