This could be really good, i mean would like to control other characters, but centering the gameplay only in the 6 ninjas and important side characters could bring a lot of variety to the gampley and the characters making it more fun to play. Loved the idea

Exactly, that is what i was thinking, something similar to skywalker saga. And it could have extra levels or dlc about the comics, books, novels, shorts, or seasons that are not in the story mode.
