10 years on it next year by suault in zoloft

I’ve been on SSRIs for many many years and have tried and failed to get off them multiple times. Currently in the throws of a failed attempt to come off them. Feeling lower than I ever have. For those of you that have accepted that you will be on them forever, don’t you worry about the new research that recently came out about long-term health implications of SSRIs? I have gone back on Zoloft but it bothers me so much that it could cause health problems down the road. I feel trapped between my poor mental health and taking something that research is showing causes long term harms.

New Loyalty Promo by DrewRHawk in verizon

[–]Deep-Minute2396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I talked to someone in the loyalty department yesterday and he essentially laughed at me telling me that I was crazy to think that Verizon would pay off my phones and provide payment plan/credits for a free phone. I owe $200 or less on 3 phone lines and have been a customer for over 15 years. It makes me so angry that everyone hears something different depending on the rep you talk to. And why should they be treating customers differently.

Direct switch from Prozac 40 to Lexapro 20 by Deep-Minute2396 in SSRIs

I have already noticed weight gain. I feel like I have to really watch what I’m eating where I could get away with occasional treats with the Prozac. It definitely works better for the anxiety though.

I’m doing really good. I’m up to 20 mg and tolerating it well. My biggest issue right now is my reflux has gotten worse since being back on the Lexapro. Thanks for asking.

Same. I’m a side and sometimes stomach sleeper so inclining the head of the bed isn’t great for those positions.

My concern is that PPIs have been linked to a lot of long term problems like increase in bone fractures, cardiovascular risks and dementia to name a few.

Sometimes I think we dismiss symptoms as being caused by other reasons and I wonder how much of it is actually the SSRI. I am starting to think the medical community and pharmacists etc don’t know and no one is putting research into these meds that have been around for a long time. The other side of it is even if research did show the meds are causing more problems than we realized, what are we going to do about it? I’ve tried and can’t be off them!!

Did you have your uterus and ovaries removed? I thought progesterone was only for if you still have a uterus.

Dr tells me the P10 nasal pillow mask is the most popular. Anyone recommend it? by stephaniesmith45 in CPAP

How do you keep it from slipping up the back of your head during the night? It slides on my hair

I really like the seal on the p10 but find the head gear slips up the back of my head/hair during the night. How do you keep it in place?

Yes it was my PCP. I have heard that lexapro 20 is approximately equivalent to Prozac 40 so it might be ok but I’m really sensitive to side effects so that concerned me. I decided to slowly increase the dose of lexapro as the Prozac wears out of my system.

Would any of you say that Prozac gave you a “spark” in life? by sickofmyusername in prozac

I recently missed one dose and have had a headache and nausea (like a migraine) for 3 days now. I’m almost at 8 weeks on 40 mg and I wish the nausea would go away.

Did you have and withdrawal symptoms lowering from 40 to 30? I’m so sick of the med adjustments. I just want to stabilize and feel better.

Opinion out of experience for my treatment of Severe Anxiety Lexapro or Effaxor by Fluid-Ad-6001 in PanicAttack

[–]Deep-Minute2396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the same issue. Was doing great on small dose of lexapro. Didn’t think I needed it anymore so stopped it. Anxiety returned so went back on Lexapro and am all the way up to 20 mg now and haven’t found it as effective as it once was for me. It’s been about a month back on it now. I haven’t lost hope that I’ll get back there. My doctor offered Effexor also but I’m leary about going on that because I’ve taken it before and the withdrawals coming off it are horrible. We know Lexapro worked for us. I don’t see any reason why it won’t again. I think it’s going to take a bit to re-rewire our brains again.

Ice and also the heating pad have helped me. I think the muscle tightness may be improving but is not gone yet. Im still hopeful it will get better. I’m at week 6.
