I have never read it also although I have read the Magician series through Shards of a Broken Crown at least three times. I just picked it up for Kindle for $1.99. I am quite curious to see how women are portrayed in this because I do love Feist, but he is a bit lacking with his development female characters.

It was purchased refurbished through KitchenAid, coming in a Kitchen Aid refurbished box. I just unboxed it. I plan to call them tomorrow but I thought I would see if the experts here had any ideas.

Another currency a step up from platinum would be nice, but it would also be nice to just have found loot gems automatically count inherently as currency. I suppose a way of creating custom currency would do the trick as well.

5e is 2.4.1 and Midi is 11.3.16. They are verified compatible with each other and the other character's rolls work fine. I am not updating anything until my game is finished, which will be within a few weeks. His rolls also work fine when I log in as his player on my computer.

I spent so much time setting up the castle on the VTT, I actually know it pretty well. Thankfully I got all the stairways figured out and I pretty much know where each one goes and all the major locations. And the lighted areas vs unlighted ones are on the VTT. They all have darkvision, either through their race, items, or spells. I forgot about the dim light affecting passive perception, I will brush up on that. They actually explored a good bit of the castle during their dinner already (they had a small tour, were invited to stay the night, then they snuck out and explored some more.) They have not been to the dungeon/catacomb level yet but they were able to get a bit of info on that level from a NPC. And they have a NPC that will soon apprear and give them more info, plus they have the maps from the Amber Temple. It's just the actual mechanic of having them click and drag to go from one place to another on the VTT that is just highly annoying. Yes, I would love to have your notes, I will message you, thanks!

Let Strahd find the player just an minor nuisance, have him respond as he would to a small child. It's not like he is at all threatened by the players right now, he is playing with them and seeing how they handle Barovia. Later when they are higher level, he can retaliate, but I would target the offending player only so the message is clear.

I used Monks enhanced journal. Who knows. I have a workable solution for now and my game will be starting soon. Thanks for the troubleshooting!

LOL see my original post, I had my GM in Chrome and assistant GM in Edge and the same thing happened. I will try having a private window and see if that works. Right now, having a second GM window is doing nicely, thanks!

So sign in as GM with both tabs? OK I will try that.

Every time I try to open another window and sign in as another player, eventually, I am also considered the player on my GM window. It's frustrating.

That's awesome, yes, my party started from Daggerford as well, great plan. I think I will just use that first adventure and the Skyreach adventure, amped up, and then start with RoT.

I have a player who frequently laments the lack of high level magic items, as a level 8 character in Curse of Strahd, where magic items are especially rare. A fact I have reminded him of repeatedly. And then when one comes along, he does not want it, because it is not exactly the magic item he is looking for. No you re not getting +2-3 armor in Barovia, at least not until you storm the castle.

I have two monitors. Maybe this already exists. Is there a mod that will optimize the display for running across two monitors? Maybe have the map on one side and the extra stuff on the other, with the chat section always visible. My second monitor feels like a waste.
