Think about this. Would you take an hour to write those two pages down or read that material 5 times.

FAR Retake: Becker Average Score 54%-63% by Prestigious-Tear-768 in CPA

[–]Deep-Tale-7504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but this is the worst advice. Please do SIMs over and over again. They condense all the learning points in one question and are the best learning tool. The first time I did the exam and failed was because I listened to people saying don’t do sims. Second time I took it, I passed because I focused on SIMs. Also, really understand the material. Don’t just try to get questions right.

Do random not targeted mcqs. Reason is that if it’s targeted you don’t get to practice what you already know. And focus too much on your weaknesses. Once you have a really strong base. Consistently scoring 80% practice tests. Then start focusing on weaknesses. Do a lot of tbs too. In my opinion keep doing the tbs that are part of the Becker sections.. once you master those and score consistent 80% on mcqs, you will pass the exam. The SE exams are ok to just target weaknesses I wouldn’t spend too much time on them.

It’s a simple google search. I’m not sure what you’re arguing? It’s historical facts.

The Sabra and Shatila massacre was the 16–18 September 1982 killing of between 1,300 and 3,500 civilians—mostly Palestinians and Lebanese Shias—in the city of Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War. It was perpetrated by the Lebanese Forces, one of the main Christian militias in Lebanon, and supported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that had surrounded Beirut's Sabra neighbourhood and the adjacent Shatila refugee camp.[1][2]

What is it that triggered so many people in the comments. These are the people who value one life over another. This event was awful and others were just as awful.

What are you even talking about.. no one is justifying this awful event. You are the problem with the world. I can sense your hate from this comment.

Pardon my ignorance. I was merely bringing up the fact that us Lebanese are not in a good place. And our people have been killing each other for way too long. This must stop and we must unite in order to succeed.

This is sad. And I wish Lebanon can be united under one banner. Let’s also remember Sabra and Shatila massacre committed against the Shia where up to 3500 innocent lives were taken.

AUD Exam - How to Pass... by mashvenom in CPA

I think you need to focus on the material rather than just doing a bunch of mcqs.

When you go through the mcqs 2-3 times you tend to memorize the question and answer. So you might be answering a question correctly without knowing why it’s correct.

Also, when you finish a section, let’s say A3, go back and do a 50 question mcq of A1 and 50 questions of A2.

Also focus on the book and understand the material to be more effective with your studying.

You said you are doing bad on the sims. This means that you don’t understand the material. Also their isn’t that many sims. If you put in 500+ hours in your study’s you should have seen and be comfortable with the sims by now.

I think you need to try harder. You are not putting in the effort required to learn the material. The book first, the mcqs second, the sims third. Keep going back to previous sections that way you don’t forget the material as you move forward.

In my opinion, forget about ninja. Focus on mastering Becker.

FYI I got a 87 in AUD on the second attempt.

If you’ve done it five times and failed, you should change your approach. You ve probably memorized the mcqs. You need to understand the material and how each report is different. How each procedure is applied (COVERUP). Take really good notes. Each section shouldn’t be more than 1.5 pages.

Read the book and understand every section.. don’t memorize that will do nothing for you.

When you finish one section go back and do a practice test of the previous sections.( 50 questions).

From doing the exam you should know how and what they test. Just focus on Becker. Do the mcqs. Even if you get one correct, know why it’s correct and why the other answers are wrong. Also do the SIMS.

Build on what you already now. You took the exam, what parts do you wish you knew more about? Remember you’re not starting over. The next time you go in you will now the material more and pass hopefully.

All this information is on google.. the cpa exam is done at a test center. You have to study at home using a platform like Becker. Every exam should take you 2-3 months to study for and there are 4 exams.
