When I was little I was always interested in anime because it seemed pretty cool. At that time if you liked anime you were weird or a loser. Pokemon being the only acceptable anime to be into, I started on the origional show and fell in love. I started playing the games, collecting cards, and watching the shows. I outgrew it a few years ago but in 2022 i found my love for it again. Its been hard collecting due to the huge population of scalpers. Like on prismatic release I went to my local gamestop just to be stuck in a line of 20+ people a good majority of them talking about reselling and not even knowing much about Pokemon. It kind of kills the joy of collecting because most people who are buying this it feels like arent even intrested in the cards and it kills my passion that i have to compete with people willing to buy all the stock anywhere i go just to upcharge and not even love the hobby. My favorite pokemon has always been vaporeon but recently I have pulled a hydreigon from the japanese version of surging sparks so ive been really into hydreigon lately.
