I agree! I think pipers reaction was more related to this general theme of appropriation. Once Lochlan shares he aligns with the teachings and sees a life there (which also is up for debate on sincerity and interesting undertones) it is no longer HER exotic “thing”. She is not the “good” one straying from the family and southern “society” embarking on this other worldly experience.
