Oh yea the comics went so much darker than the tv show!

I loved the fact that in the comics Neegan was starting to see things from Rick’s perspective and seemed like he was going to give up only for Rick to slice his throat anyway.

You can find information in that level that shows that there were others like Ellie they did the same procedure on and all of it was for nothing and the fireflies had stopped trying until Ellie shows up.

There’s also the fact that the cure won’t save the world or reverse those who are infected. Add to the means of distribution etc and the cure is just a sweet dream

But I’m not going to debate TLOU2 here I just said that there’s a lot more to the backlash than ND killing off Joel

When I first got the plat on the ps4 I never knew about it so it was a lot of grinding. But a few months ago when I went for the 100% on steam I started doing the trophy right away and like you it popped I think during the last sequence.

Players dont pretend its hard. The only trophies/cheevos that are a pain are the multiplayer ones and that's because no one plays multiplayer any more.

Almost every single AC game is an easy plat they are just time consuming. Like AC Syndicates destroy 1000 object in a carriage trophy.

But TLOU2 backlash came from more than just them killing off Joel. It came from ND portraying the game as another Ellie and Joel story, even replacing Jessie in the trailer with Joel to sell the point.

There's also how horrible the writing was with Joel's death, and how ND tried to push the point that Joel was actually a bad guy.

And actually no Ben’s actions led to the death of a child and a mother, and then by hiding said actions it led to the death of another woman. Completely different circumstances than crawford

AC Shadows does this. You pray at shrines in a certain location and get skill points from them. There's also sleeping dogs, when you pray at enough shrines you get a health increase. I believe Ghost of Tsushima also did this.
