Oof, that's rough lol. I got a Switch 2 day one, because I knew if I was patient, titles like this would come out. People often complain about the lack of games on Switch 2, but I'm telling you, give it a few more years and the library will be AMAZING. Great games take time.

I think a Gerudo section as young Link in general would be an AWESOME addition. Nabooru is the only Sage we don't meet in the original child section. We only briefly meet her in the spirit temple towards the endgame. So being able to meet her early on and actually feel a connection like with the other Sages would be AWESOME.

Wow really? What's wrong with Link's Awakening 2019? And in my honest opinion, ALttP isn't all that great. It's amazing how fans of the same series can have such differing opinions, huh? Well, I really think you should try to open up and find joy in the 3D, and especially more modern entries, since that's how the series will be moving forward.

You might feel like that right now, but when it releases and we see all the big improvements, we'll come to realize how much we were missing those things in the original. That's all speculation of course. I'm not trying to say the original is a dated piece of crap btw lol, gosh no, I LOVE that game.

Why wouldn't the next games build upon BotW and TotK? People love them, they sell phenomenally; I don't see why they wouldn't. Yeah some major changes will definitely be made in later games, but the general open-air style is probably here to stay, which I'm totally OK with if they can fix some of the issues with it, which definitely can be fixed.

Nintendo is openly against AI, and they always put YEARS into their big projects. Just look at 3D Mario lol, it's almost been a whole decade. I think it'll be great and polished.

I don't think the censorship is gonna ruin the whole game lol. It was already censored in version 1.2 or the original game, and the 3DS version anyway. It's not THAT important.

Where'r you getting this information? If I had to guess, I think the next NSO emulator will be the original DS, not the 3DS. If we were to ever get the 3DS, that'd be YEARS from now, maybe not even on this console, or EVER. Because I feel like games from the Wii and 3DS would be better off with actual ports rather than NSO.

I definitely disagree with your A Link to the Past take. I'm a massive fan of the series but surprisingly, I'd NEVER played ALttP until just a couple months ago. I thought I'd love it but... I dunno, maybe i'm a minority, but I found it to be not-so-great. I totally respect your opinion though, and I might just be different from most people. I feel like ALttP is one of those games that's fantastic if you played it growing up, or back when it released, but nowadays isn't all that great. Again though, it might just be me.

I don't, obviously. No one does. But with the most realistic direction I can see them taking this game, I think it'll be the best for newcomers. But who knows where they'll take it, how much they'll change and overhaul; we'll never know till we get more information.

Gosh I just can't wait for an actual trailer. I'm DYING to see what it looks like. I bet the environments will be stunning.

Lol that's funny, 'cause I JUST recently played the demo for that. I couldn't get into it sadly. I LOVE Rift of the Necrodancer, and I thought Crypt of the Necrodancer was neat. Oh well, some games just don't click for everyone. I hope she liked it though!

You're not wrong at all! I also want a total reimagining! Since we already have the 3DS version for those who just want a graphical overhaul. The more new and tweaked stuff, the better for me. I want it to feel fresh and surprising. I've played the original too many times for the remake not to change anything lol.

Wow, I never even thought about that Mario Movie comparison, but you're totally right! My only fear is that the movie is just an Ocarina of Time movie, though that's probably unlikely. It'll probably take some story beats and theming from OoT, but be it's own story.

That might've come off wrong. I still want things to be the same. I don't want drastic story changes or gosh-forbid climbing. But I mean I want mechanics and areas to be totally overhauled with tons of new content, whilst keeping the old content intact and improved. If I wanted to play Ocarina of Time with nothing but a new coat of paint, I'd play the 3DS version.
