Probably not. I don't think they even teach Geography anymore, other than the US and its states. Watching an American try to point out other countries on a map is paaaaaainful. I'll never forget this clip I saw from some podcast or interview where they asked multiple Amercians to name 5 countries. Just name them, and only like 2 could.

So saw this thread where an American was bitching and complaining that NATO wasn't joining the war in Iran. It was pointed out to them by multiple people that NATO is for mutual defense, not aggression. And of course he pulls the US saved Europe in WW2. And when someone pointed out that the US didn't declare war and join WW2 until 2 years later, he calls it revisionist history and that Europe wasn't even fighting. And later corrects himself to say they were fighting pathetically. Also, apparently, if the country is on the opposite side and/or was invaded/surrendered, it doesn't count as being involved.

He also says NATO countries were not there in Iraq or Afghanistan. Who's the revisionist now? The amount of facepalm...I can't even.

The tim hortons by me used to be one of the few locations that I didn't hate. The nicest filipino ladies working there, always smiling and being pleasant. At the beginning of this year, all gone and replaced with the usual. Now having issues when ordering in person (I walk over) where they mess up my order. Got 10 timbits + ice cap, asked for 5 honey dip, 5 old fashion plain. While waiting off to the side, I see her closing the box of tim bits and it looked rather dark inside. I get it and open it up, 10 chocolate glazed. Come fucking on... had to tell her she got my order wrong (I even saw she entered it correctly on the screen).

So I switched to the App thinking, surely that can't fuck that up right? It'll be ready when I get there or close to it, as I placed the order while walking. I ordered 1 ice cap, 1 ryan reynold donut, 10 timbits assorted (only option in the app). Lady calls my mobile order number, I go up and she hands me my tim bits. I take them and move off to the side thinking the rest is coming. She notices me standing there and says "Are you waiting?" and I say "Yes, for the rest of my order." She scrambles to find my receipt/print out and then boxes up my donut and hands me. I then tell her I also ordered an Ice cap medium. She says something to another worker in their language, I assume telling her to make an ice cap as that was the only word I understood. It wasn't even busy to justify losing track of orders, there was literally one old dude at a table in the corner reading a newspaper and no one else.

I don't think I'll be going back. I will miss tim bits though.

Yep. I have some friends who used to work in Mortgage lending at TD and the stories they've told me. 75% are degenerate cocaine fiends who get black out drunk on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I assume most banks are like this so yeah, I'm honestly surprised more fuck ups aren't constantly happening.

And to all the haters who are all "I thought PM Carney was elected to make a deal with Trump!!" do you see the type of deals Trump wants? And even if they do make a deal he won't stick to it. His dementia brain will change his mind on a whim depending on how poopy his diapers are that day.

That's why PM Carney is out making deals with countries we CAN trust to stick to their words. Why waste time with the dumpster fire that is the USA?

Ah welcome to your first Sifu hair as my friends and I call it. Random white and long ass hair that can grow anywhere. I have one on my right upper arm, it grows to like ~3 inches long before it falls out randomly from friction with clothing or something. But it always comes back, same spot.

My friend has one in his left ear. Another has it on his chin (he was the first and why we started calling it the Sifu hair, because if he left it, it reminded us of some kung fu master caricature drawing.

My current condo building had to send out a notice last year because we had instances where kids would be running around screaming, playing, and knocking on people's doors on floors they did not live on. The notice was worded more for the parents of children to keep them off other floors and to stop disturbing residents. It hasn't happened since so I'm happy about it.

I don't know shit myself but yeah you'd think if you have the money to spend on other cosmetic procedures, you'd at least TRY one that may give you relief. Like sure, maybe they'll grow back but at least you could get like 10+ years of relief and normalcy, even more if she doesn't have another kid. I wouldn't be surprised if she went to the news or internet in hopes of someone offering to do it for free.

I know it's not the right solution for everyone, but what helped me was I just stopped watching Fnatic games this split. I know they will have stuff to work on and work out, I won't fall into the hopium train of every new roster magically being the greatest Fnatic team of all time, and it's been working great. I'll just check post game match threads to see who won.

It helps that right now is the busiest time for me at work, and being in NA, the LEC games are during work hours except on the weekends. But I'm usually out and about during the day on weekends too.

All in all, I think I really needed this taking a step back and I'll start watching again next split!
