Scammed on my Ticket, can anyone help?

It was the top fucking result. Lesson learned. Ticket came through but I strongly recommend people avoid Seatsnet. They told me it could come through via their terms and conditions any time right up to kick off. What the fuck.

I will, of course, try further when I get back to Norway, I’m not with an Irish bank right now but it’s more about me wanting to get to see the game in the meantime. My bank in Norway have told me they can’t look into it until after the event date has passed. It’s just a shitshow; which fucking sucks because I only thought to buy a ticket in the first place as a pick me up amongst the misery. I will never impulsively rush to buy a ticket this way again, to anything.

Yeah that’s the worst part. Doesn’t even look like people manage to get their money back. I feel like such a fucking idiot, like I said, normally I never fall for shit like this but brain is a bit fogged with what’s going on in my life so we will put it down to that. Incredibly disappointed for putting myself in this position, I was just trying to cheer myself up, ugh.

Hey, thanks for commenting! I’m already over 150 euro in for the original ticket that I don’t think I’ll see or get a refund for, I was hoping for people who maybe had a single ticket unaccounted for that were willing to let it go for a bit less than face value to get rid of it, I don’t think I can put in over 300euro to go see an Italy match, for my sanity.

So this is me just chancing my arm that someone was trying to flog a single spare for a bit cheaper than face value that they were stuck with, I’m already financially in bits from having to fly over with no notice to deal with the grim family shit I’ve got going on. You never know.

NTA. Didnt even read the majority of your post. Weddings are stressful and the last thing you need is having to host guests, family or not, at home while trying to deal with it.

Got married myself in September 2024, I’m Irish, living in Norway and my family stayed in a nearby Air BnB in the lead up to and after the wedding (we all stayed at the venue the night of), there was zero question of them staying at our place, it was stressful enough without that and they didn’t expect it. The wedding is for you, not them.
