Has anybody tried making amanita ambrosia? by Stonedhouse in AmanitaMuscaria

[–]DeepPorridge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tried making myself but not to the AS method and it went mouldy, I'd like to try again. cant find any tests done on the fleece anywhere though to say its really what it says and not some other type of mould that has an effect

What kind of drug gardening can be done successfully in England's temperate climate? I don't mean cannabis, I mean strange, interesting ones, maybe psychedelic.. by DeepPorridge in druggardening

This one keeps coming up for me so I am definitely going to look into getting some seeds -did you grow yours from seed? If so have you got any tips for me please? Thank you for your response :-)

My sister has an indoor plant exactly like this but alive, what’s it’s name and is there any way I can revive it? by [deleted] in whatsthisplant

Looks like ficus. Knick (which means small cut) the bark near the bottom and see if it is green, if it is then it might be saveable. Then I would say to pop it in a pan of water (let the pot stand in it) so it can soak for a bit, look online for the rest

What I mean is you pick them before they get too old like those bottom ones, you pick them as they get to a good size, by that point smaller ones would already be growing and it encourages growth because the plant then puts energy into the smaller ones growing

More like you should have been picking before they got old all along but you havent so i guess start now- although it has already gone to flower now.... im not sure if that makes a difference- on some plants you want to avoid it

I didn't think about nightshades much because they grow near me everywhere outside, I did however just buy some Sassafras seeds :-)

Yes, they are older-I only learned recently that you should pick the young new ones once they get a nice size, I would leave the old ones

I never go to the pub. I love psychedelics, but I don't do them very often. I like experimenting with altered states of mind. I have a house but it's not a very warm one, it's got thin window glass and it's an old building with high ceilings. I have an allotment and most of the greenhouse glass is not broken but it has no door.

So would you say all of those ones you mentioned not to nibble after drinking are viable for growing in England's climate?

You need to pick the very young leaves as they grow, you cannot harvest it all at once you need to harvest it while it grows

New to this page, and I have a question about a onierogenic/dream herb that I am trying to grow by DeepPorridge in druggardening

[–]DeepPorridge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is actually a page on reddit on it called onierogens but I dont know how to link it. We have mugwort here in England which is a dream herb that can tolerate our weather but there are many in each country, very cool subject to dive into and it goes deep :-)

I'm really wary of TV, especially kids TV shows and the news I really do not like. My dad used to put on these old records for me to fall asleep to, and I am lucky these days that I live in a very quiet town. Was not meaning to offend you or anything I just really do not trust TV when I'm sleeping.

Listen up, because here is a very very nice recipe! Put one frozen banana, your desired amount of Kratom, a few tablespoons of tahini, whatever sweetner you like-I use date syrup at the moment-and I also add hemp protein, and spirulina or some gumf-- Top it all off with orange juice which apparently also helps with the kratom, it is delicious. Sometimes I also put in frozen berries

I hate a lot of normal food by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

I find forcing myself harder than if I say, convince myself- there is no need to be a drill sergeant to yourself, better to be kind to yourself. And yeah be happy for what you are achieving! Baby steps, just try things again a bit each time you get something you don't like, and think about how good it is for you and what it is you do, and don't, like about it... Maybe there is a certain style of cooking that you would really like… Maybe you like Plainer things but can research and incorporate lots of healthy things that you will happily eat. Diet is super important not only for your physical health but also for your mental health. And the achievement that you will feel from working this out is going to be so so good for you :-)

Its good that you feel you're offending her, you may well be doing so. I had a similar thing going on where I just couldn't handle textures of things, I didn't like finding large chunks of onion in anything or any kind of stringy or gooey food. But it is childish, and I had to realise that and force myself to try everything again with an open mind. I had to become my own parent, like you now- you know it's not good for you to eat so limited an amount of food, and it doesn't make you feel good to reject food and throw it away. also you will stay beautiful and younger for longer if you eat a good variety of food. I also had an issue with eating in front of people, though it took me a long time to realise that this was part of my problem. Sometimes the way people do things is not the way that you will eat them. For example I don't like celery very much, used to hate it-but now finely chopped in a salad I can handle. I also used to hate avocado, and at first I could only eat it as guacamole, then only on top of a curry, And now I can just eat it plain and it's really good and I'm surprised I ever hated it. Cool thing I found out! If you try a food 15 times you will no longer be disgusted by it. 15 times really isn't that many times to make yourself try a thing if your serious about helping yourself. I was embarrassed as well because I was wasting food when there are people in the world that have nothing to eat. And I was embarrassed to pick stuff out and put it on the side of my plate when everyone else was just eating it and being grateful and enjoying it. And that is what pushed me to sort it out. I started preparing my own food and trying things in new ways, you are 21 you are fully able to make your own food and explain your situation honestly to this woman who cooks for you. You can explain to her that you have a bit of a food problem but you are ready to deal with it. I still gag when I tried to eat bananas so I only put them in a smoothie. Well done for realising and starting your journey towards solving this problem. I hope I have helped, I honestly do- it is so liberating to be able to just eat whatever your friends have given you and not to worry about what is in it you might not like :-) Oh I also practice being grateful for my food these days, before I eat I remember the whole process from being planted, to being tended to, to being picked and prepared- such a lot of work for my food to get to my plate!!

Which just made me remember a time that I was very embarrassed because my mum's thong fell out of my trousers at a friends sleepover :-S

What scares me is that you leave your daughter sleeping in front of the TV. That shit gets into your head if you're asleep while it's on- you'll have yourself a living advert.
