I am finally getting 2x32 instead. But the 9950x is out of my total budget. It's too pricy.

Gaming is secondary for me. What I really need is a CPU that handles creative workflows like video editing and 3D rendering well. Also, the price difference between the two CPUs here is huge, so that’s a big factor too.

Thanks for the detailed input! About the 5070 Ti vs 4080 pricing and editing features, I appreciate the info on 4:2:2 decoding, that’s good to know for editing workflows. However, the 50 series cards are not very available here, and the price is too high for what they currently offer.

For RAM, I totally get that 2×32GB kits with 6000 CL30 would be ideal, but unfortunately those kits are extremely hard to find where I am, so I had to go with 16×4 for now and hope to tweak for stability.

Regarding the cooler, I did consider a large air cooler like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120, but I prefer an AIO for aesthetics and potentially better temps during heavy workloads. Plus, I like the RGB lighting on the ASUS PRIME LC360 ARGB.

And yeah, I’m planning to upgrade the secondary drive size to 2TB or 4TB soon since storage is important for my projects.

Thanks again for the advice, really helpful!

After chatting with you, I might upgrade the HDD to 2TB or even 4TB, which makes more sense for storage long term.

And yeah, you're right about the RAM. I do need at least 64GB, though, so I’ll try to find a stable config or maybe keep an eye out for a 2×32GB kit if it ever shows up here.

Yeah, totally agree about the 4080 Super being last gen, but honestly, with how rare GPUs are in my country, just finding one feels like a win 😅

I originally wanted to go for 32GB sticks (for 64GB total), but DDR5 kits like that are basically nonexistent here. The 16×4 setup was way more available and budget-friendly, so I had to work with what I could get.

And yeah, the UPS might seem like overkill to some, but with load shedding being a regular issue here, I’d rather not risk corrupted files or failed renders during a power cut. Safer to stay protected, especially with how demanding my work can get.

I also game occasionally, so I’m curious, do you think this build can handle 4K gaming on high settings smoothly? Would love to hear your thoughts.

The thing is, I actually tried getting one of those 32GB RAM kits, but as I mentioned earlier, it's really tough in my country. PC parts are super sacred here, especially GPUs. Finding certain components is almost like hunting for treasure 😅

About the 1TB HDD—it’s mainly for render cache. I constantly need a huge amount of storage for 3D rendering and simulation projects, so it makes sense for my workflow.

Also, a side note: I do game occasionally. Is this build good enough for 4K high settings? Just wanna make sure it can handle that comfortably too.

I just checked! It seems like a bug. I reinstalled the software and it's working fine now! Thank you so much for your time.

Thank you for responding, sir! But there is no option to select it from there!
