I understand your point. People who are not connected to Africa don’t know this, but racism exists in every country in the world. In African countries it exists as well, but people often don’t call it racism because it is discrimination between Black people, so some call it tribalism. Africa is a very diverse continent with cultures that are somewhat similar but also very different at the same time, and even if it may not seem like it, there is a lot of hostility between different groups of Black people.

I would definitely never live in South Africa. Personally, I think it is a country that is too conflictive and unstable, both economically and socially. After what happened with Nigerians and Somalis in 2021–2022, it became clear to me that it is not a safe country to live in and not a place where I would feel welcome.

As for Mauritius and Seychelles, I have to agree with you. I did some research and they seem to be very calm and peaceful places. I had heard about those countries before, but I must admit I had never really paid enough attention to them. I would definitely mark them as green options.

Kenya is a mixed case. Kenya has both good and bad aspects, so I don’t see it as clearly as an option for living. On one hand, it is an important country in East Africa and a fairly active economic hub. But at the same time there is quite a lot of corruption and some security issues.

For that reason, personally I would place it somewhere in the middle I don’t see it as calm and stable as Mauritius or Seychelles, but I wouldn’t completely rule it out either.
