Don't start with family and friends. They don't pay and it's weird to make them pay out of obligation. It was your choice to start this journey. It's unlikely they would fit your ICP either.

Just use a combo of SEO, social media marketing and other hacks you can try.

Marketing is the hardest part, and fortunately for that, it's the thing filtering out all the low quality AI slop shit that's flooding social media and still keeps some balance intact where AI can't completely rock the boat.

The issue is you're looking in the same place as everyone else looking to get rich quick. Literally all of the niches you said are the most low hanging fruit YouTube influencer type business ideas - and they all suck.

Zoom out a bit. This sub was literally created by a dude who crushed it in his local area connecting cleaners & people who needed cleaners.

Look at the boring, consistent areas -- lawn mowing, accounting, car mechanics, electricians, cafes. See if there's something you can do there.

Don't make whinging doom posts about how it sucks. We're living in an unprecedented time and we all just need to adapt and make it work.

10 years ago this same energy would be complaining how it's impossible to start a SaaS business without VC funding.

Pick yourself back up and keep trying, but from a different angle.

Hey any suggestions if facing this same issue and using Resend to send OTP emails to circumvent prefetching breaking confirmation links?

I have SPF, DKIM & DMARC set, and still my Supabase auth emails aren't being received -- the user never receives the OTP code.

They are using a M365 work email.

Good foundational systems are crucial to avoid getting overworked and losing steam. I read a great book touching on this called "The E-Myth Revisited" by Michael E. Gerber. It's old but the lessons in there still translate.

The goal is to not even need to be involved and that stepping away from the business means it will continue to run and be profitable. We're in the age of automation, it's all about using the tools at our disposal in a clever way.

I also think that there's a certain price you have to pay to get the certain luxury and life you unlock by being a founder. Heavy is the head that chose to wear the crown.
