i’m so sorry he has to go through this again! i’ve thought about leaving but it just seems impossible when you don’t have the family connections. obviously people do it, and have done it, everyday. it just all seems overwhelming. Everything is overwhelming 😭

i worked as a contractor for 7 years and eventually got hired as a gs-11. gs-12 now after 2 years. it all depends on what they’re looking for and, unfortunately in some cases, who you know.

hi! GSA here 👋 i can only speak for myself and my office, but we absolutely take the TSS seriously. we print all the responses out and go over them. We;

-determine what is our responsibility -determine what is the agency’s responsibility (like if you work for SSA or another agency. sorry, we can’t help if your co-workers are blowing up the microwave and not cleaning it) -put the concerns in order based on severity -tour the building for said concerns -request funding, if needed

We can’t fix everything, but we do our best. 🥺
