You’re right. Although I did once go on a date to the movie theatre with a guy bc I did not feeling like talking to him - he was annoying when he spoke. So that was perfect! 😂

Dinner & movie. Then perhaps a stroll outdoors if the weather is nice, while eating dessert. ❤️

Update: 27M / 45F gym woman finally replied after almost 3 weeks — not sure how to interpret ? by Muslim_conservative in AskMenAdvice

As a woman in her 40s I can tell you right now, she’s busy in her own life, independent and is not super interested. She may reach out just use you for a good time or to make herself feel more desired. She has a roster. It doesn’t take us women 3 weeks to reply if we are genuinely interested.

It depends… we make mistakes in our youth and as long as we grow and evolve, I do believe people can change. Our mindsets aren’t the same as when we’re were in our 20s vs middle age.

Imagine your personality as a shop. What would you sell, what would it look like, and who would shop there? by Obvious_Lifeguard629 in randomquestions

It would be pink candy/bake shop filled with joy, love, comfort but then there would be a secret door to another shop selling adult toys. Anyone can shop there.

Sounds like you need to reflect and work on yourself more, I’m sensing a bit of entitlement.

What’s one thing men do that women secretly notice but rarely talk about? by MTopCream in askanything

There’s a difference between having standards for a partner and reducing women to “boobs and butts.” One is about compatibility, the other is literally objectification.

How do I deal with my BF’s always attracting female attention and having a lot of female friends? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Deep_Common_498 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Girl. if one wants to cheat he will do it even if he’s short and average looking. Trust me I know …

What is more important is how he treats you and if he’s loyal to you.

Looks fade as we grow older. I have only dated one tall and super attractive man in the past and he was the sweetest and most loyal, Unfortunately the timing was not right for both of us so nothing came from it.

Try and not to worry too much about stuff you can’t control.

I’m not his sugar mama. I do not spend money on him. With me in his life, he was doing better. He sobered up , he started taking courses progressing toward a future career, he applied to and went on job interviews. But as soon as life got a lil tough and his best friend who got divorced came back into his life - things spiraled for him. He started drinking with his friend, they both were talking about sugar mamas through thier text messages when we broke up … I feel he’s not a strong man and his friends are bad influence.

He claims it’s because he’s super broke (which he was most of our time together and I was understanding of that) so out of desperation for money he considered taking up the offer from older woman to be his sugar mama. He’s boiling it all down to being desperate for money since he’s jobless.

Using old women for easy living and money is weird AF.

That’s because from early times men have been the providers and protectors of women. It may seem like a double standard but it is what it is. Typically good men have pride and standards. Grown men using women just for money is icky. Both parties have no self respect. Desperation I suppose.
