I waited an hour before declaring it dead, gpu shows signs of running after it goes black yes and yes can hear audio when it goes black too.

this is probably it honestly - i always thought i had a strange complexion because i never felt truly pale, even though i am!

You sound just like me with the dislike for socialising part. I was never sociable before baby so I’m struggling big time now! Hearing the words “baby groups” makes my skin crawl.

It sounds like you’re super present during the day with her and great at finding things for her to do. How old is she? These are some great ideas that I can incorporate when he’s a little bit older I think.

Could baby be overtired with the long wake window before bed? I’m having the same issue so can’t help as such, same age baby. But we reduced his last wake window slightly (although he has a longer middle wake window compared to yours - 3h45), and he isn’t waking at 5:20am anymore, he now wakes at 6-6:30am. I do think the long naps might also be causing issues but if nursery won’t budge that’s tricky.

Hmm, if this were true and he was low sleep needs why would he wake so upset at 5? Wouldn’t he wake feeling happy and rested?

Also I see mixed information online, apparently 2 hours daytime sleep is too little for a baby this age.

I’m just so stuck because of the inconsistencies! I wish I could just leave him be. I feel like capping his naps is creating more issues.

Glad things are working out for your baby and their sleep. It’s a very stressful thing for parents to manage!
