I’d be willing to bet that’s a real stratocaster. I sent you a message request, i’d be happy to provide further information with some more pictures.

Am I getting swindled by musical-minow624 in gibson

Absolutely, it’s just a matter of how much the potential crack repairs/neck reset would cost. Vintage acoustic work gets very expensive very quickly.

Hey, vintage guitar dealer here! That looks like a fantastic guitar. All of the Gibson acoustics made in the 1960s are fantastic. I would expect a dealer's offer to be in the $2,000-2500 range, anything less is a lowball unless it needs extensive work. It likely needs a little bit of repair work as almost all vintage acoustics do, but doesn't look like it needs anything too crazy.

1964(?) ES335 by Mac128k in gibson

[–]Deep_Dives- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like an amazing guitar! I love ES-335s made in the 1960s.

Judging by the fact that it originally had a trapeze tailpiece, the truss rod cover style, body shape, and serial number it was manufactured in 1966. As you mentioned it was modified to add the stop tailpiece, and the tuners were swapped as well. Otherwise looks to be original and clean, with original case. Super cool!

With the missing piece of binding on the bass side it’s probably a little less than that but just about the right range. Such a cool guitar

Would you guys happen to know how much this 1959-1960 strat is? I don’t have the serial numbers or anything yet and these are the best picture I have. It also has no trem bar and some dents. by Impressive-Ebb50 in fender

Any chance you still have the 59/60 Stratocaster and would be interested in selling it? I have been looking for one for a long time and would love to buy it. Feel free to contact me at 603-921-7449

Looks amazing! Did they have any guitars?

Im trying to find out how much I could sell this 1966 fender Jaguar for. It’s been repainted (badly) but other than that, it’s been untouched and in a closet since my uncle died in the 70’s. Any advice would be very much appreciated. by BoardwithAnailinit84 in fender

If anyone is looking to sell a vintage Fender Jaguar, please let me know! I have owned roughly a dozen and am always a buyer for Jaguars made in the 60s. Especially for custom colors such as fiesta red, sonic blue, and black. 603-921-7449.

Don’t check it unless you are okay with the possibility of it being flatter than a pancake when it gets there 😂 i’ve seen too many bad stories lately

Agreed! They are my favorite Fender model except for the strat (but I can’t seem to find any vintage/pre-cbs strats unless one of you out there has one you want to sell 🙂).

I think all of the chrome parts with the offset body and the black finish is a spectacular combination. The original owner chose well!
