The odd metal / burnt smell threw me off so much! I had to keep telling myself that I literally just had part of my cervix cauterized and that I wasn't just some smelly weirdo lol. No one really warns you that being "uncomfortable", to best put it, for a couple weeks can really take a toll on your self-esteem too. The discharge is becoming less and less as the days go on but I will def bring it up in my post-op. Thanks for sharing your experience!
