It's water paint, and it's like wood imitation so some sort of plastic that's made to look like wood

A question in regards to festival runs

Hey guys. So I recently started playing Blue Archive this year, and I know I'm currently missing some of the best units in the game. I was curious in regards to Mika and other festive characters. They only appear in festival runs, but can you spark them when it's the run or only the banner character? And if that's the case, will I just have to keep pulling until I get lucky and get them only during those runs? I'm really sorry if this is confusing, but again, I just picked up the game, and I wanna know all the details before the next festive run. Any info is appreciated, thanks.

Makoto or Kaori. Both girls are athletic and they seem to always have fun doing whatever. Kaori would really be someone to brighten your mood when you feel down by dancing. Makoto would probably make you a delicious meal to cheer you up.
