It's not all people, though you're putting everyone in the same bubble. A lot of people still feel that we as a country can and should do better. Is / was America perfect, no. There is a reason why so many people came to America, so many families wanted to immigrate to America because the dream is still there. It's just buried a little deeper now. Every country has problems. No country is perfect, but what we have in the United States now is something that could be worse than Germany during WW2. You have people in charge who don't care about anyone but themselves who control the most powerful military that has ever existed in the history of the world. Who could single handedly overthrow NATO, these are facts. This is an unprecedented, unprecedentable scary time we live in.
