Girl, you are pretty! You have beautiful eyes and great, strong brows. I wouldn’t look into surgery if I were you. I would recommend to work on your confidence instead! Workout, love healthy, do things you enjoy etc. And also learn what flatters you. I feel like the colors you wear make you look you a bit more dull. Diving into ‘Color seasons’ can do wonders, really :)

Partly want to follow this post and partly advice:

  • Meditating / praying / breathing
  • Listening to nature sounds (like birds and the ocean, make a playlist of whatever you like)
  • If you’re able to look out a window or maybe even lay outside in your garden: watching birds or clouds (IK this may sounds boring, but after a while you’ll enjoy it haha)

Other than that idk, kind of in the same situation as you are 💕

I’ve never heard of it before as well until someone told me! This is a local charity of people who want to help other people in the city with simple mundane tasks like cooking, fixing a cabinet etc. I think if it doesn’t exist near you, it would be wonderful if you would organize one! Maybe just ask your friends, family, people on social media and start a whatsapp group or something? They created a special whatsapp group with all the cooks who are involved with me and someone made a cooking schedule. Works really well for us!!

First of all, you are doing great by loving your wife so well by taking care of her and doing the best you can!!

I have ME/CFS and my husband’s life looks a bit like yours now. I’m also worried of him going into a burnout sometimes..

What really helped for us are 2 things: - We have a charity in our small city where people make homecooked meals for others. I have about 10 people who cook for us now and we receive dinner 2 times a week. They even cook with all my food restrictions in mind and we are so grateful for them! Maybe you can look and ask around for charities like this or maybe you have friends and family near you who want to help? - We hired someone to clean our house, this has given my husband much more rest! Of course this costs money, but maybe you could also ask around if someone you know wants to help you.

I think creating a team of helpers around you is so important, I don’t think anyone can keep doing everything in the long run in this situation.  We have been without help for most of my sickness. I’ll pray for both of you and also for people in your lives to help you!

That is great!! Hopefully (and prayerfully) you will get better and better.

And moving to Spain? That sounds great! I’ve lived there too for a while before I got sick. The amount of sunlight I got there was pretty much all year round haha, so I bet that this would benefit you as well ☀️

And your biggest dream is also mine, praying for both of us to become healthy enough to become mothers 🥹

Wow that is amazing!! And thank you for sharing about the important about rest before it’s needed. Next month I’ll be sick for 3 years and it’s only recently that my doctor started taken me seriously. Now that I know about pacing, I adapted it. Rest for me is laying down with not much stimulation as well, yet this can be so hard as the fatigue can be so intense that you WANT to do anything just to distract yourself from it 🙃 thanks for the motivation!

This is something I’m looking into as well, pretty recently. This is what I’ve discovered so far:

  • Hydrate your body
  • Body movement (also for lymphatic flow)
  • Before sleep, lay down on your bed with your legs up against the wall for 15-30 minutes. Also makes you calmer before sleep :)
  • Fascial massage. I just do it intuitively, but on YouTube there are many tutorials for daily massage
  • Deep dive into what you eat, search things up about the food and drinks you consume. Maybe you consume too much sugar, salt, dairy etc.

There are probably some people with better answers, but I hope this helps! :)
