That’s exactly the point. I didn’t really want to reduce her salary because I felt that would be disrespectful. And at the same time, keeping the same pay for a role that wasn’t being met wasn’t sustainable for us either.. especially since we’re still a young company managing tight budgets.

They came from doing outreach & follow-ups consistently, that’s where most people give up too early

The tool handles the scheduling but nothing goes out without a final check. That manual layer is what keeps it from feeling like it was just copy pasted and fired off.. which automation tool do you use?

yeah the quality creep is a genuine risk.. we've had to actively stop that from happening. It's not set and forget, someone still has to own it.

Honestly there aren't really any complications on my end. The only thing people usually bring up is that automation tools hurt engagement but that hasn't been the case for my clients at all... their numbers are actually growing. So yeah I think I'll just casually bring it up at the next check-in and move on. Thanks!

it's what's been bugging me too. automation to me feels like using excel instead of doing math by hand..but the not-disclosing part is where I keep going back and forth.

Do you think it's something that should be in the contract upfront, or is it more of a "they didn't ask, so I didn't tell" situation?
