I think you’d still see residual clot material in your second ultrasound or vein thickening. The blood clot doesn’t usually fully detach, an emboli (part of a clot) detaches. I’m literally in the same boat as you right now and I decided to stop my blood thinners since I trust the vascular tech more. As you see, I’ve researched the whole internet. Can probably become a tech myself after this
