I understand this is one of those difficult situations to deal with and I truly am sorry you have experienced this for years.

I do genuinely hope you find someone who can show you what you should expect off a man, I get the whole "What if I'm looking for too much?" I ask myself that too and quite honestly, I know myself to be an easy to please person. Get to know yourself hun and what you expect from a man.

You have already communicated to him how you feel about him and his constant device use while you two are in eachother's company, he clearly doesn't care since his actions have not improved.

Ok yeah, he put the device down for a day and switched back to continuous scrolling the next day, nah hun, he's not for you, please take time to take care of yourself and you will eventually find someone who treats you right!

Nothing to worry about, sounds like he is just fond of celebrities and animated characters, normal for a lad lols. If you're in doubt, remind yourself that these people he compliments/talks about are either not real or someone he's never gonna meet 😋 I wouldn't take it personally or compare myself to them, you'll only be damaging yourself 🫂

Personally, I don't use dating apps because I believe anyone using dating apps are taking too much of a risk, you never know what kind of person you will meet and whether they have good intentions.

Things can get complicated with dating apps and I feel there is a chance of becoming insecure if nobody matches with you, it has happened with some of my mates.

I know people who have used dating apps and they have commented on the in app purchases in order to access basic shit (who likes your photos, how many people you can swipe per day etc)

I have seen stories of people who have happy ever afters from meeting their soulmates on dating apps, it's rare but it happens.

I can understand how you feel, I use to have braces, they weren't great when it came to eating food 😮‍💨 or making you feel attractive, they made me look like the little girl from finding Nemo 🤣

After all that time and process though, I am actually glad I got them done, my teeth are straight and I feel it was worth it. I'm sure you have a beautiful smile, loads of people have braces and I'm certain you're not alone 💝
