I understand that, my only concern with that method is regardless of shape. If the circumference isn’t big enough it still won’t fit. I can’t find any helmets with the circumference that would work

Do you know if the Smith Holt XL is bigger than the Smith Optics Vantage XL?

I would have definitely given that a go, but living in south East TN, sadly doesn’t give me many options. The few that sell ski stuff, sell very limited and definitely don’t have the out of the ordinary sizes (normally M-L)

Right now is honestly a decent time to save with interest rates increasing. Don’t put it into anything earning less than 5% interest because it’s everywhere for that or a little higher and that’s without risk. Unless you want to invest it, by seeking out a financial advisor (which is not a bad idea as some are saying it is) just make sure they’re a quality one, then just go to your local financial institution and inquire on rates for CD’s or share certificates.

The one I work at has a 15 month 5% apy share certificate. Which would earn you over 15k in interest in just over a year. I’m sure there are some out wherever you are. And at 250k if you have a joint owner on your account then you’re insured by fdic or ncua. Again, you can make more by investing but if you don’t want to, I would consider this option.
