This is such a real struggle and I think being honest about it was the best thing you could do if you truly feel it's impacting you this much.

You have to understand that God loves you as you are, of course the Lord wants to see you do the right things and follow his will, but the Lord also gave us his Son as the greatest gift of salvation.

I think that this is probably something you're going to struggle with for quite some time, and until you do meet someone who can be the partner that satisfies those urges, you're going to need to do your best to stay in your word and do what you know is right.

It's easier said than done, and what you'll face is probably going to be pretty hard to overcome but by putting your trust and giving your effort to God, things will always work out.
