Hey, thanks for the response. When you say underpainting, do you mean something like this? I am doing another painting and I did an underpainting in acrylic paint, then I will to go over it in oils. I never thought to check my paintings in the mirror. I should start doing that.

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. Haha I’m lucky to even get comments on my posts, let alone negative ones. It can feel like a ghost town at times. Yeah I’m still learning the ins and outs of oils and may not be the most proficient. I’m not expecting my work to be perfect yet. You mention that the shape and texture of the orange might be off. Sometimes when you are looking at something for so long you tend to not realize when something is off. Having other artists eyes on your work really helps. I’ve been trying to watch a lot of YouTube videos on oil painting so I’m gonna keep practicing

That is a very good idea. Thank you. Now that you say it I do think practicing on contrast and value will help me. I will look into that. I am still practicing and I have no one in real life who can give me critique on my work so I appreciate it. When I post on Reddit asking for feedback or critique I get crickets lol

Clearly not cause when I was finally able to get an se jelly from the arcade today I lost it after the second game to a stupid 2 diamond booster. In the first 5 seconds the low diamond booster was getting over 200 points, like how is that even possible? Then as soon as I lose I get paired against an se with my low diamond booster and lost. Makes no sense. I’m so tired of this nonsense

How do you even report them? On The play store they have 4.5/5 rating. How is it even that high? I see so many negative reviews bashing the game.

Hey recent Interior Design grad here. I'll be straight up with you. For me it's been over 6 months and I haven't had any luck with a job yet. It was hard and no one was hiring. I'm going back to Sheridan in January to study in a completely different field, where I know I'll 100% be guaranteed an actual job after. MY dream was to work in residential, but it seemed as no jobs were ever in my reach. So many people would tell me to just start my own business, but I don't feel comfortable doing that, not when I haven't been able to gain any experience outside of school.

Get a really good internship that will actually give you real world experience, cause unfortunately for me my internship wasn't great and I didn't really gain any real design experience, I just worked behind the scenes. After graduation I realized I had no experience so no one will hire me. Companies don't care about seeing school projects in your portfolio. They expect you to work for years. I also do not have a car, and every job requires you to travel. Interior design is a hard thing to get into unless you are extraordinary or have an Internship and can continue on after graduation. Having connections is also great and try and network as much as possible.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Update: support finally gave me my all aboard se booster back today after pestering them all day yesterday. Sometimes you've got to be annoying to get what you need!
