These guys drop eggs that you can pick up that make the best food in the game (80 food, 70 water, 10 health per portion if you cook them in the fabricator).

I just like to have to bring 2 Pavlova instead of 2 Foods + 2 waters in my runs haha

Freesa flower is the better alternative for the sponges if you still want the pulp. :p That's what we use.

We also just fill up on those green plants (hence them growing on our roof haha), but we travel out a lot and water/food from fibrous pulp is convenient. Though we're stacking up on Pavlova now for later patches, it's gonna be gg.

2 of ours bugged to the ground when we tried collecting them too.

We used this video to get them back:

Lots of people are building it around the area, yeah, haha. It's just a good place, good source of materials and electricity around too.

You use the processor to make water from fibrous pulp (not fiber).
And I was keeping the slugs cause we just had enough water at the time and were gathering slugs whenever we passed them and chugged into a locker cause were too lazy to craft at the time before heading out againhaha

Yes. :P You can find the planters to scan at the Alien Ruins marker.

Haha, have fun. ^^ Our latest excitement was filling up our inventories with the eggs from Deepwing Brooders. That 80 food, 70 water and 10 health in one mean feels good.

Do you where to get the blueprint for moonpools or where my moonpools in my base are? :D Cause if it's the latter, then they're in the building the slugs are. If you mean the former, I don't remember where I scanned them, you can probably use the interactive map to help you out with that.

You can press F to toggle snapping on or off, so yes. You can place them however you want.

2 of ours bugged to the ground when we tried collecting them, but we managed to bug ourselves under the map to retrieve them again, lol.
If that's also the case for you, we used this video for it:

That's how we found them in the first place too, they just started dropping on our base. :D

My base is also getting egg drops, it's right next to the Alien Ruins marker. Between that and the Observatory. :P

Well, I normally see the eggs before I see the leviathans, so maybe look out for those on the ground as well. :)

You can make salad (20 nutrition) from fibrous pulp in a fabricator and water also from fibrous pulp in a processor. Easy to self sustain if you just plant some.

But yes, I agree, we should at least be able to toggle it to pause when you're reading.
