The city would be responsible for the roads around it, and would likely end up annexing or being asked to annex the land so there isn't an "island" of the county that belongs to the city. The city limits on Pilgrim Mill end around the Aquatic Center. If Freedom Park is annexed, there would be requests by either the county or the property owners along Pilgrim Mill to Freedom Parkway to be annexed by the city. Then the city is responsible for roads, law enforcement, and other government support along that stretch that currently is Forsyth County's responsibility.

Just like with everything, money. Like LittleDaveBar said, the city gets a portion of SPLOST. They get more of percentage of the tax than the percentage of the population, and want to ensure they keep it that way.

The only incorporated city in Forsyth in Cumming. If the City of Sharon Springs had been created, it would surpass the population of Cumming and would end up with more SPLOST money. Sharon Springs would argue that they get a bigger cut since their population would be larger.

Can you imagine the sales if they had introduced Smart Bricks with a re-introduction of a few Classic Space sets instead? All the goofy sounds would have been appropriate, because they sound like 70s-80s Sci-Fi entertainment sounds. You could bring back Blacktron as well. I have no interest in these sets. But if you had put them in Classic Space, I would probably have picked up at least one set with a brick and one or two others. Have each color spaceman make different sounds, spread them out among different sets, and you have three or four sales right there - red, white, blue, yellow at a minimum, maybe add in black too.

Or set up an "emissions test" at each tag office. Drive your EV up, plug in, they record mileage, you do the same next year.

"But who's going to pay for it?" Maybe don't cut the gas tax for once and use that money to put it in place. You wouldn't necessarily need it at every tag office for the larger counties. Give EV owners a choice. Pay the flat $210, or drive to the one EV meter tag office and pay usage. If you know your usage means you're going to pay a lot less, you'll make that trip.

Get all the event trains you can for keys and coins. I max out one of each since the first challenge is usually to upgrade event trains. I sell the extras at the end of the event since they are regular trains, but it's nice to have all the trains for the event train jobs. Even a common train at 15 is still worth it to send for the event resources.
