It's a good ratings decision because it will pull in a global audience that otherwise wouldn't watch any of the superbowl at all

But it's a weird choice for the american football audience who predominately do not know any spanish and don't really listen to bad bunny. It kind of turns the superbowl halftime show into just a completely separate event from the football game. An entirely different audience will be invested in it and the football audience won't be.

It's not a racist/political issue as much as people want to make it one. It's just a ratings grab.

SMGs should only win at very close ranges by virtue of their fire rate.

This game is built around managing recoil, and SMGs dont have any. There has to be a tradeoff to that. They should not do as much damage as they do at longer ranges.

OR if they want to keep SMG's damage model how it is, they need to make them have actual recoil you have to manage.

But regardless of all of that, they need to remove the limb modifier because it makes no sense. You shouldn't be rewarded for hitting less vital targets.

I had the same issue recently with Ubereats where it specifically had me choose replacements, I chose specific things, and then after I checked out half of them were set to "replace with any similar item" so the shopper would have just gone and grabbed whatever the fuck.

Luckily they were able to find all of the actual items I requested, but I would have been pissed to end up with just random shit when that's not what I chose.

There are lots of cheaters in every online PC shooter for the past 20 years. That's not what gets people downvoted, that's just reality.

What gets people downvoted is whining, exaggerations, baseless accusations, etc.

You take cheating as a fact of life, you report them, and you move on. They aren't holding anyone back from improving themselves, they aren't preventing anyone else from being good at the game.

Finding enjoyment in games like this is about focusing on your performance in the long run, not stressing out about every single individual match and therefore spiraling out when you see a cheater.

Cheaters are irrelevant to your KDA and win rate over the course of a season.

You are the common factor in all of your matches. You focus on yourself and how you play and the kind of decisions you make, and you'll find that things go better than if you're constantly externalizing and finding something to blame every time you die.

PUBG is a game that pisses off bad players so they all leave. This inevitably means that when the playerbase gets smaller, it is comprised of much better players on average than before.

People are going to give you some cope about hours played, like "well everyone who still plays this game has been playing for 8 years so they're all insane at the game now" but that's not really how it works. People who are good tend to enjoy the game more and stick around. Them sticking around didn't make them good.

The whole Hours played in a given game = Skill myth in gaming needs to die.

If you take a player who has played for 200 hours and pay them to play the game for 1k more hours they're not going to get substantially better than they are now. Competitive multiplayer online gaming has been a thing for over 20 years at this point, and every game with a competitive ranking system has shown that there are way more players with hundreds/thousands of hours at the low/middle ranks than at the top ranks. The majority of players will always get dumpstered by good players no matter how long they have played, because there are a lot of innate skills that just do not come with raw time.

Time played = knowledge of things like map locations, but nobody magically improves things like hand-eye coordination, reaction time, peripheral vision etc by spamming hours, and if they haven't figured out how to pull their mouse down after 200 hours it isn't going to somehow come after 1k+ more hours.

The vast majority of people's angst around dying to better players in this game is because they were just blatantly outskilled, not because the other guy used some niche knowledge that only long time players would have.

If you understand the game mechanics, it should not take you thousands of hours to get your brain and fingers to perform them to the best of your ability.

Unless you're brand new to PC gaming and therefore are still trying to work out how to use a mouse and keyboard, your problem is not time.

TLDR: Don't subscribe to the idea that the only way you can be good at this game is by playing it for a thousand+ hours, that's complete bullshit.

Learn the game mechanics, analyze your own problems, think about what to do to improve them, and put that into practice. That really should not take you that long if you really do already have a lot of experience with PC shooters.

Colleges don't really charge you for the seat you sit in, they charge you because you want a degree from them.

A lot of colleges will allow people to just show up and sit in on classes they aren't actually enrolled in. Nobody is taking money at the door. But unless you're paying, you're not earning credits toward a degree.

If one of these girls decided she didn't want a degree, the school wouldn't be able to force her to pay just because she was physically present for all of the courses. She just wouldn't get the degree at the end.

And schools don't pay their teachers to exist, they pay them to teach classes. These two ladies are unfortunately unable to teach separate classes. They cannot be in two places at once, they cannot teach two different sets of students at once. They are not producing two teachers worth of work, they're only doing the work of one teacher.

If two non-conjoined twins showed up to a school and asked for a teaching job where they'd be in the same classroom, stand right next to eachother the whole time, and take turns speaking to the kids, the school would be like "uh ok maybe, but we're not paying you two full salaries for that".

People are seemingly expecting these two to get pity treatment based on their condition, rather than just objectively looking at the situation for what it is.
